Studio K20

Studio K20 is Musikkteknikk's biggest and best equipped multitrack recording studio. Studer Vista X digital console, 24-bit Pro Tools HD DAW, Sony 48 track DASH and Tascam DA88's.
In Studio K20 we produce all kinds of music ranging from techno, rock, bigband and jazz, to contemporary and classical. Our multitrack live recordings are mixed in this studio.

Studio K11

Studio K11 or "Store Studio" is our largest recording room. It is in fact a small concert hall where NRK's own symphony orchestra, Kringkastingsorkesteret, give concerts.

Oslo Concert Hall

Nrk Musikkteknikk have also a control room in Oslo Concert Hall. Here we make recordings and live broadcasts for radio and TV - mainly of Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra.
Our studio in Oslo Concert Hall has just been rebuilt with a new design and improved acoustics.

Studio K22/Mastering

Musikkteknikk have a masteringstudio where our recordings are refined before they are broadcasted or sent to the CD factory. Our main mastering tool is a Pyramix harddisk editor and Bowers&Wilkins 801 speakers powered by Dynamic Precision amps.

Studio 19 LIVE

Is NRK Radio's concert scene and is recently refurbished to an intimate concert hall that seats about 50 people. Live concerts for an eclusive audience with national and international artists are recorded or transmitted live from Studio 19.
